The Shannons Nationals…..competitive, entertaining motor racing at Australia’s premier circuits, an extraordinary variety of fast cars and extensive television coverage continues to build Australia’s ‘second level’ national series. The quiet achievers of motor sport have quickly grown into a series ‘must see’ events for Australian motor sport enthusiasts.
The final round for 2008 will be at Sandown International Raceway on 29th & 30th November. Saturday 29th will feature official practice and qualifying, plus 2 x 1 hour races (GT and Aust Manufacturers Championship). Sunday 30th will be non-stop racing action from 9.00am until 5.00pm.
The Sandown event will feature the following national racing action;
· The Australian GT Championship (Sandown GT Classic)
· Australian Manufacturers Championship (Production Cars)
· Kerrick Sports Sedan National Series
· Supaloc Saloon Car National Series
· Commodore Cup National Series
· Shannons V8 Touring Car National Series
Gates open at 7.30am both days.
