Undercover Area (Betting Ring)

Unique to Sandown, the Undercover area is a 100m wide open air section with a large roof, which extends from the rear of the main grandstand.

On summer racedays this area is used to house the bookmaker stands, but is very popular with trade show exhibitors.

The Undercover Area covers a total area of 4800sqm, and features a natural slope which is ideal for exhibitors of cars, machinery and the like.

Being open air this area gives hirers the peace of mind that their event will not be inconvenienced by the weather - rain, hail or shine.
