Multi-Purpose Room

Located on the ground floor of the main grandstand, the Multi Purpose Room is one of Sandown's most versatile function hire rooms. Used predominantly for staging conferences, trade exhibitions, and festival activities, this 2,000sqm room can hold up to 2000 people. When fully shell-schemed for trade exhibitions it will hold approximately 500.

The Multi Purpose Room has a major roof-high bi-fold door which enables large equipment and display materials to be easily located inside.

Many larger events use this room in conjunction with the outdoor canopy (betting ring area), providing the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor areas for exhibitions, food areas, and staging for presentations.
